- set the correct size for arrows in the dropdown menu
- remove border and background in the button that contains the arrows
- remove rule that was trying to make separators transparent but is
not working

In gtk+ gtknotebook.c gtk_notebook_get_arrow_rect [1] we can see that
the size of the rect that contains the arrow is set by the style
properties scroll-arrow-hlength and scroll-arrow-vlength [2].
